這幾天氣溫轉暖,街上行人的夏季鮮艷顏色衣服,和路边種植的鬱金香打成一片。上學孩子的自行車,鈴子叮叮地響過不停,和他們的嬉笑声在我身旁經過。小販在露天市場,也趁机擺賣各式各類的合時疏菜丶鮮果丶和其它多姿多彩的食物。加拿大冬長夏短,所以人和植物都要爭取時間,在那溫暖的陽光下,我們要儘量享受和珍惜那美好的時光!!!

San Wen Ji: There are several types of milk sold in Canadian stores. The percentage refers to the fat content e.g. 0% (known as skim milk), 1%, 2%, and homogenized milk.
San Wen Ji: Fiddleheads need to be cooked for at least 10 minutes in boiling water and 20 minutes in steam. Please see my next blog article.

oh..gosh, I just love the plants...taste so so delicious...and i love the "structures"...
San Wen Ji must be living in a non-milk driving culture. 1% milk does not mean there is only 1% milk in the content; it refers to 1% fat in the milk. Whole milk has 3.5% fat content.
Fat-free milk tastes like water, and fat-free cheese only tastes like salt. They are supposed to be healthier but take away all the joy of drinking and eating.
啤酒花™_J: I am glad to hear you too enjoy fiddleheads which are available commercially only for abt two weeks here.
Keith: Just like SWJ, I too had very little knowledge abt milk products when I was living in HK.
You are right on abt skim milk which doesn't satisfy my taste buds. Currently, I am drinking 2%.

Tofula: Just like you, I like that creamy taste !! I can never drink the watery skim-milk stuff. But I do appreciate other people's need for a fat-diet budget.
