I just love skiing. Watching the video (posted by someone else on YouTube), I wish I could go back to the Alps this winter !!!

這六天滑盡了聖模里斯附近的三個主要山嶺: Corviglia, Corvatsch-Furtschellas 和Diavollezza-Lagalb, 每個山各有各的特點,其中以海拔3303metres 的Corvatsch Glacier冰川頂上風景最好,沿著冰川滑下來,可直下至海拔1870metres山腳的吊車站(相差是1433metres vertical drop)。

我發覺這裏的山雖然高,但難度欲似乎不同北美,例如:這裏的 'Difficult' 平均較加拿大落磯山Whistler/Blackcomb処的 'Black Diamond' 容易,在六天中,我只找到一個 'Double Black Diamond' (an unmarked trail that I went down) 和一個 'Double plus+ Black Diamond' (I did not go down, not wanting to risk falling hundreds of feet if I missed a tight turn - see the two skiers in the photo)。但話得說回來,欧洲的下山滑雪冠軍總数仍是比北美多。

三月十四日,我付了20CHF瑞士元,跟隨一團十人,在職業嚮導Swiss Mountain Guide帶領下,由Diavolezza頂(海拔2978 metres), 在Vadret da Morteratsch 冰河滑雪,至山下的Morteratsch越山火車站(1896 metres),全程10公里。
