Koala Gal: The pic was taken in downtown Ottawa, the capital city of Canada. The monument on the left is the National War Memorial and the castle-like building on the right is Hotel Chateau Laurier. From your blog, it appears you write in English, Chinese, German, ... and the articles on brain imaging - I am impressed :) As for movies, it seems we share quite a few of our favourites, "2046" being one of them.

Zum neuen Jahr Gesundheit, Glück und viel Erfolg!
(Quoted from your blog: In the new year, health, luck and much success!)

Oh!!! Thank you so much for your appreciation!!!

I like 2046 too, and that's how I got introduced to your blog from the 2046 tag!

Ich wünsche dir ein glückliches neues Jahr auch!

I am struggling hard with German too.... never got the word order or the case right... It is so disheartening... I write lousy German..

Hey you've got a new photo up with the Kings, Queens!! Is it taken in Africa???

I like your post on Love and Life, and you have lots of friends leaving message up here!

God Bless you all and wish you feel the love of Jesus one day!!

Hi Koala Gal: I like quite a few of 王家衛 Wong Kar Wai's films, including "2046" a futuristic story that links back to 梁朝偉 Tony Leung's past (in reference to "In the Mood for Love" 花樣年華).

I took the picture of the King, the Queen and the Ballerina at home. They are figurines on the Christmas tree :)

As I mentioned in your blog, my knowledge of German is limited to the few words I learnt in Switzerland earlier this year.

Look forward to seeing you around. Take Care !!!
