我還記得2007年12月尾時告訢自己,吃完聖誕節的火雞大餐甜品,放下刀叉之後,就需要開始第十個馬拉松賽的訓練,做好l8個星期的凖備工作。在體重方面,我的目標是要減少4公斤,其實這是沒有什麼凖則,只是基於我對自己身體的認識,和歷年運動經驗所鑑定的「減肥」目標。所以我在過往3個半月間,都有小心飲食(eat clean),多飲牛奶及吃適量疏果魚肉,看著同桌人吃雪榚丶巧克力的時候,90%我也沒有饞嘴。
在氣力(cardio-muscular)方面,我卻仍未達到水凖,無錯,晨早心臟跳率(rest pulse rate)當然不再是全盛期的32 beats per minute,但比較上還是很健康,而時速目標(target pace)也是自己能力之內,但訓練的長程距離(long distance),卻是似乎是有點落後。在上星期五訓練日,我長跑的目標是32公里,但走了29 Km後,大腿肌肉已開始「抗議」,為了不想跑傷身體,所以立刻停止。
在最近報章閱文,知道有一個超過一百歲的人瑞,要嘗試破世界紀錄,完成在倫敦的馬拉松賽(London Marathon)。他現時能夠在5小時20分左右,跑完半個馬拉松的距離(馬拉松賽跑全程是42.195 Km)。或許在這訓練期間,我就要借用這人瑞的勇氣,努力去完成那最後的13多公里 !!!

I'm impress with that palse rate of a top athlete. While you are in training, I could be some help if you send over all your chocolates.

我的心臟跳率也很慢,不過不是運動員的慢,是身體虛弱的那種慢,要我跑全程馬拉松?我唸你係終點站永遠見唔到我啦 ~

Huh, what women falling all over me? Not after my extreme craving for chocolates. Sigh. They like to go for the athlete type these days, perhaps Marathon runner.
