It seems the problems were caused by having too many "video bars" (Renée Fleming, Joan Baez and Connie Francis) loaded as "page elements" in my blog. After reducing the number from three to two (Bye Renée, sob !) , everything is back to normal.
From now on, you will see my responses in the comments section again :)
