On Saturday, I took advantage of the nice weather (sunny with no wind, around -8 deg C) and went skating on the Rideau Canal. February 17 to 18 is this city's Winterlude Festival weekend and there were thousands of people on the 7-km long skating rink. Most of them were on blades, but some were just walking about in their winter boots, and everyone was enjoying himself/herself.
