It's Maple Syrup Time. Hi Girls !!
Last Sunday, I went with K and my mother to Fulton's Pancake House and Sugar Bush where we enjoyed home-made sausages, baked beans and fluffy pancakes covered with REAL maple syrup. Going to the sugar bush is one of those annual events that we always do together. Here are some of the photos I took. Enjoy !!!

really lovely photos !!!
just curious, did you modify the colors ?
Lovely pictures, thanks for sharing your experiences. While we got a bottle of maple syrup in the fridge, it is not as need as those straight from the trees.
They need to boil them and condense them to make it the correct sweetness level, right?
頭兩張照片很美很"濃",
有點像聖誔咭的樣子,
和michelle想法一樣,
有color modification嗎?
Michelle: Yes, I recently downloaded PICASA's free photo-editing software and have been fiddling around with the various options, including cold/warm colour variation. I wanted to give the farm some "warmth" to complement the somewhat melancholy story 無盡鄉間路Farm Road With No Return, thus the tint.
Kempton: Knowing that the maple syrup is "fresh" from the farm does seem to make it taste better :)
Yes, the raw liquid tapped from the trees are pumped via a network of plastic tubing in the forest to the processing plant where it is filtered, concentrated (by reverse osmosis) etc in order to get the different grades of the final products.
新鮮人: Further to my comments to Michelle, the colours yellow, blue, red, green were intensified in the second pic.
