"When the white-blindness epidemic strikes the population, the whole world turns upside down. The line between right and wrong becomes murky. Terror and panic reign. Anger, cowardice, sexual exploitation and animal behaviours raise its ugly heads .... But behold: Those who can see, can no longer see. And, when they cannot see, they finally see."

watched this in theatre
San Wen Ji: I hope you enjoyed the movie.

Unfortunately, things did not quite work out that way in the movie.
I actually have written down some of my thoughts abt this movie. I would post them on the blog when I have a chance.
i read the story book as well....
so real...
this story makes me think alot..
San Wen Ji: For one thing, civil disobedience of a few could create chaos of epidemic proportion and the society would quickly turn into an anarchy state. According to the older generation, this actually happened to HK immediately after World War II when the Japanese surrendered and lawless mobs (known as 勝利友) took advantage of the power vacuum and started looting, raping, and terrorizing the locals !!!
