With a humidex temperature of 43 plus degrees C, the CBC radio station is playing Xmas songs to cool us down.

Yes snow, I can almost see it melting and dripping, and Santa Claus ho-ho-ing in his swimming trunk !!

Santa has laid off the elves and outsouced toy production to factories in Asia.

A spokesman said the toys will all be machine-made from soft recycled fabrics of unknown origin.
